Bluestones Group has launched its latest joint venture Lean Plus, a North West based Lean training specialist business focused on providing Lean methodology, six sigma training. Headquartered in Chester the company will service clients nationally. Darren Lynch, Lean Plus’ Managing Director, has launched the business with the support of the Bluestones Group after more than a decade of working in training sector.
On the launch, Darren said, “Over the years I’ve built up a large amount of experience in the lean training sector. The timing was right to set up Lean Plus and provide training to industry sectors that are suffering from skill shortages. The market we’re operating in is buoyant and we’ve already hit the ground running with a handful of key clients.”
Darren has been working with the Bluestones Group team and benefiting from all the shared services that joint ventures have access to – including marketing, finance, HR and IT – so the proven Bluestones approach to investing and supporting start-ups, both from a financial and operational perspective has meant the turnaround on the new brand launch has been quick and seamless.
Bluestones Group MD, Stuart McBride commented, “Darren has a fantastic background in his sector and he’s well regarded by clients. His experience and commitment to continuous improvement training make him exactly the type of person we look to invest in.”
Lean Plus officially launched on 1st December and is open for business now. The business operates within the training sector, with a particular focus on the automotive industry. It provides pre-employment, lean training and six sigma training all the way up to Champion level. To find out more about Lean Plus visit www.lean-plus.co.uk
