The expert speakers for the evening were:

Mike Cerruti – VP Commercial Strategy & Marketing for Geismar, previously working with giants in the industry including Lafarge and AREVA, delivered his presentation on Commercial Excellence – “Big Bang or Small Steps?”.

Christophe Verschuere – Technology & Business Transformation Executive, previously working for companies including Etihad Airways, Saudia Cargo and Azelis, who successfully transformed the ICT capabilities and corporate technology services and capabilities within his previous companies. Christophe delivered his presentation on data centricity as critical success factors for digital transformation.

Both speakers were met with an engaged and interested audience who fed back that they received huge value from the evening.

The Business Club members also had the opportunity to network and engaged readily with one another on the evening, exchanging contact details and gave the chance for several old colleagues to catch up. These connections have since resulted in new business opportunities and relationships among the group.

Chad Harrison International regularly holds Business Club networking events across major cities globally, with the aim to connect the best in the international market and facilitate connections and discussion between leaders. The new office is the result of a continued period of success for NWP Resourcing which supplies mechanical and electrical staff to one of the UK’s largest M&E contractors.

NWP Resourcing Director Ben Leigh said, “this is an exciting time for us and this office move is the result of the success we’ve experienced in recent years.”

As the headquarters for the company and the base of future growth, the office has been purposefully fit-out to complement the needs of the staff working there. With an on-site gym, secure bicycle parking and high-speed internet, the team have everything they need to concentrate on providing an excellent service to the UK’s M&E personnel.

Ben continued “We needed a space that is modern and works for different people. Something which was welcoming for visitors, but also a place for the people who work for NWP Resourcing too. We’re pleased that our new office in Hub Squared is able to offer that.”

The Baltic Triangle is also experiencing a bit of renaissance in recent years with construction in the area booming. Something which Ben believes is good for business and candidate attraction.

“There are so many construction projects in the Baltic Market at the moment. So many of our candidates are familiar with the area and it makes it easier for new candidates to simply pop in and register with us,” said Ben.

The company also moved its UK head office to a purpose designed headquarters in Liverpool, acquiring the penthouse of the prestigious Cotton Exchange building.

The new office was officially unveiled on Friday 20th July with an event attended by the Chad Harrison International team, as well as Bluestones Group employees and Chad Harrison International’s key suppliers.

The new office opening is the result of a continued period of success for Chad Harrison International which follows the opening of new remote sales offices in Belgium and Germany earlier in the year.

Chad Harrison International MD Luke Robbins-Wells said, “This is an exciting time for us and this office move is the result of the success we’ve experienced in recent years.”

As the headquarters for the company and the base of future international growth, the office has been purposefully fit-out to complement the headhunting methods used by the company’s consultants. With skype pods, private rooms and stand-up desks, the new office caters for consultants wishing to speak in private, or away from their desks.

Luke continued “We needed a space that is modern and works for different styles. Some consultants prefer to speak in private while others wish to walk around the room or stand up. The Skype pods, stand-up desks and break out areas are perfect for every style.”

Additionally, Chad Harrison International has a new Softphone application, allowing consultants to answer their direct dials on their mobile phones or laptops, removing desktop phones, as well as make calls from their direct dial even if they’re visiting clients abroad.
