Key Group staff promoted

We are delighted to announce the promotion of three key members of the Bluestones Group’s Head Office team.

Alison Drew, Gavin Gosling and Jade Leary will all be taking on new “Head of” roles as the central shared services functions evolve to support the growing complexities and deliverables required from our ever-expanding business.

Steve Pendergast, Group CEO commented:

“Recognising and developing internal talent is not only good for business, but it’s satisfying to see as Alison, Gavin and Jade have been with us for a number of years now and have been crucial in supporting some critical moments in our history.”

All three have been previous BIG Awards winners and as Steve has commented, are committed long-service employees, having been with the business for a combined 17 years.

In their new roles, they’ll continue to work with their existing teams providing services from the centre, albeit with an increased focus on the strategic development of each function and ensuring their individual functional areas are aligned to the Group’s growing business needs.

Alison Drew

Alison Drew will now take on the role of “Head of Group IT Services”, ensuring business as usual continuity of service is the norm, that we’re leading the way with cyber security and compliance, that our hardware and software is top notch, and that our ability to deliver on-time and on-budget IT projects is maintained.

Gavin Gosling

Gavin Gosling will take on the role of “Head of Group Risk and Credit”, ensuring debtor days remain low, that money is received from clients within agreed terms, and that payment risks are proactively mitigated.

Jade Leary

Jade Leary will now take on the role of “Head of Group Management Accounts” and will oversee the team of management accountants who deliver the brand P&Ls each month, accurately and on-time. Each brand has their own nominated accountant to which queries can be directed.

MacMillan Coffee Morning

Well done to our Head Office team for getting involved in the MacMillan Coffee Morning today – there were some delicious cakes made and devoured!

We ended up with a room full of cakes, rocky road tray bakes, brownies, profiteroles and cookies – so well done to the team for either baking or buying these. The majority baked their own and the standard was particularly high… potentially giving Bake Off competitors a run for their money!
