We are seeking an experienced and versatile graphic designer to join our fast-paced marketing team at Bluestones Group, in our headquarters based on the outskirts of Chester. In this role, you will be supporting our portfolio of recruitment brands with design across a wide range of media and platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Create compelling and on-brand graphic design solutions including branding, marketing collateral, web graphics, presentations, infographics, and more
- Conceptualise and execute creative design concepts from idea to final execution
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives
- Ensure consistency of branding and design standards across all channels
- Stay up-to-date with latest design trends, techniques, and software
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Be able to work autonomously and collaboratively, managing your own workload amid competing priorities and within business time constraints
- Managing supplier relationships (e.g. printers, merchandise suppliers, etc.)
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a graphic designer, ideally within an agency or consultancy setting – or where you can demonstrate the volume of work and projects you typically work on.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Experience with Canva and similar online design systems
- Strong portfolio demonstrating design skills across various media (print, digital, etc.)
- Excellent understanding of layout, typography, colour theory and branding principles
- Ability to work autonomously and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Outstanding creativity and attention to detail
- Knowledge of web and UI/UX design principles is an advantage, but not essential
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or relevant field is preferred, but we’re flexible on this point. It’s more important that you have the right skills and experience.
