We’re looking for a marketing executive to join the education marketing team at the Bluestones Group head office on the outskirts of Chester.
Responsible for a select number of brands within the Group’s Education division, part of the balanced portfolio of recruitment and staffing service companies, the role’s remit extends across the full marketing mix – covering everything from digital marketing, content marketing, website management, PPC and advertising, events, analytics, PR, social media, etc.
The roles and responsibilities of the Marketing Executive:
- Managing one/two of the learning and development brands within the education division
- Write and edit content to help increase audience engagement on the website including blogs and press releases
- Ensure all collateral, email marketing, website content and digital is quality checked
- Manage social media for the brands using a social media management tool
- Write and create social media campaigns
- Reporting into the director of learning and development and provide ad-hoc support to the senior marketing executive for the larger brands
- Should have excellent organisation, prioritisation, and communication skills.
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar Marketing Executive/Account Executive role
- Knowledge of email platforms
- PPC knowledge
- Excellent organisations skills and ability to multi-task
- Capability to work under pressure in a fast past environment
- Basic understanding of HTML
- Must have excellent analytical skills and prefer to work in a structured, planned manner
- Previous experience with WordPress CMS, Canva, and other marketing software.
- Basic (or better) understanding of SEO/SEM.
- Experience planning and optimising PPC campaigns on Google, Facebook and other platforms.
- Confident using and interpreting Google Analytics.
Desired but not essential:
- Degree (or equivalent) in marketing, business, communication, media, creative writing, advertising, education
- Agency experience
- Education sector or recruitment experience
- PPC and Google Analytics experience
