Bluestones Staffing launches new training programme

Bluestones Staffing has launched its unique 4-week training and employment programme for Warehouse Operatives in conjunction with The Department for the Economy.

This specialist training and employment programme aims to equip unemployed people with the skills to pursue a career as a Warehouse Operative. With the rise of online shopping and click-and-collect becoming a significant part of retailer’s operations, the agility of their warehouse and distribution operations is rapidly becoming more critical to the supply chain than ever before. This means having the ability to flex resource to meet order requirements is key to retailer’s success. With our contingent staffing solution providing trained and skilled operatives, productivity can be improved and costs reduced.

Bridge to Employment is a custom programme designed to provide trainees with a sound understanding of the tasks involved as a Warehouse Operative including using warehouse management systems, health and safety and team skills. All trainees who successfully complete the training will be guaranteed an interview with Bluestones Staffing NI with a view to offering permanent employment.

The training is underpinned by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and the Institute of Leadership and Management. Trainees who successfully complete the programme will also receive an industry recognised qualification.
