Bluestones Group has launched its latest joint venture MEP Resourcing, a North West based recruitment specialist business focused on providing temporary and permanent personnel in the construction sector. Headquartered in Liverpool the company will service clients nationally. Ben Leigh, MEP’s Managing Director, has launched the business with the support of the Bluestones Group after more than a decade of working in recruitment.
On the launch, Ben said, “Over the years I’ve built up a large network of clients and candidates. The timing was right to set up MEP Resourcing. The market we’re operating in is buoyant and we’ve already hit the ground running with a handful of key clients.”
Ben has been working with the Bluestones Group team and benefiting from all the shared services that joint ventures have access to – including marketing, finance, HR and IT – so the proven Bluestones approach to investing and supporting start-ups, both from a financial and operational perspective has meant the turnaround on the new brand launch has been quick and seamless.
Bluestones Group board sponsor and divisional CEO, Paul Broderick commented, “Ben has a fantastic background in his sector and he’s well regarded by both clients and candidates alike. His experience and commitment to quality make him exactly the type of person we look to invest in.”
MEP Resourcing officially launched on 1st December and is open for business now. The business operates within the construction sector, providing mechanical and electrical professionals on a temporary and permanent basis. Specifically, it recruits plumbers, electricians, duct fitters and thermal insulation engineers to various projects throughout the UK.
